Sunshine Bloggers Award Tag! Finally answering the questions :)
Thanks to Lizzie Hexam for nominating me! Check out her blog, here: https://starlightandsaucepans.org/
The rules:
1. Display the award’s official logo somewhere on your blog.
2. Thank the person who nominated you.
3. Provide a link to your nominator’s blog.
4. Answer your nominator’s questions.
5. Nominate up to 11 bloggers.
6. Ask your nominees 11 questions.
7. Notify your nominees by commenting on at least one of their blog posts.1. What was your first word?
From what I’ve been told? Football! Which is crazy because aside from a brief faze in my preteens I’ve never been interested in it and I couldn’t really tell you what a Running Back does except for I think they stiff arm people. (The embarrassment I’ll feel if I got all of those terms wrong) XD
2. It’s a rainy afternoon. Would you most enjoy going outside and feeling the rain on your face Marianne-Dashwood-style, curling up in a window seat with a good book, or getting your favorite music on and doing some housecleaning?
Honestly, it depends on the day. Probably cleaning. But sometimes I’d like to read something calming like the Magic Thief or anything else I can find lying around! I also love listening to Porter Robinson songs like Everything Goes On and Humansongs because they just make me feel happy on rainy days. I also would probably prefer above everything to animate or draw. I do not like feeling the rain on my face. (I wear glasses and getting those wet is not fun.)
3. What does your handwriting look like?
Ha, I’m still trying to fake being an adult, you wanna completely ruin the façade? Naw man, not answering this. XD
4. Which decade in history do you think had the best women’s fashion, and which decade had the best men’s fashion?
I’m not good with history but based off of movies, I would say that girls fashion was really nice in the 1940s. The World War 2 type dresses are the ones I would like to wear. As far as men? I would say some decade in the 1800s, they just looked really proper back then! (And with both I’m using Western fashion because if we count Japanese/Korean outfits 1800s men have some competition.)
5. What’s your dream career?
A director/writer/animator who makes her own animated series. And writes songs too, to go with them.
6. Name three to five of your favorite fictional characters.
Ok. Of all characters? First I think of.
The Will of the Many—Callidus Ericius just the most loyal friend ever.
Nightcrawler from X men Evolution(the animated tv show)
Donnie from the 2012 TMNT animated series. Never get tired of watching him say or do anything! Leonardo is also high up there as well.
Connwaer from the Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas
Tink from The Wingfeather Saga(the books more than the tv show)
Clement from Pokémon XYZ(And I feel like I don't even have to mention Ash Ketchum from XYZ he's probably my favorite character of all time! Aside from Callidus.)
I could just go on forever so quick honorable mentions,
Varian from Tangled the Series
Robin from Teen Titans
Spike Mylittlepony Friendship is Magic
Pablo and Tyrone from good ol’ Backyardigans.
And some of my own original characters…:)
7. What’s one virtue that particularly attracts you in other people?
Sincerity and hard work and enjoyment of life.
8. If you write, which authors do you think have most influenced your writing style? (If you don’t, which authors’ styles do you most admire?)
Every time I read a book, I adopt that authors style for a while after, so I can’t really choose one. But I would say probably Percy Jackson is the highest, I still write characters with a voice similar to his sometimes! And The Beyond the Tales series by Tricia Mingerink really inspires me along with her Blades of Acktar series. And most recently, Closer to Nowhere and What About Will by Ellen Hopkins have been great inspirations as well.
9. What are the three best and three worst period dramas you’ve seen? (Broaden this to movies in general if you’re not a period drama person.)
Never seen a period drama before so…Three best movies!
In no particular order
1. The Amazing Spider-Man I don’t feel like I need a reason for this
2. The Greatest Showman music, story, acting, music, magnificent!
3. The Lego Movies one and two always something to watch if you want to laugh and reflect on life at the same time.
4. (Because I couldn't help it) Netflix's Bubble. One of the most beautiful movies I've ever watched! Visually, musically, it's probably my first choice if I ever have an hour and thirty minutes just lying around. I'd watch this probably before I watched any of the others on a normal day.
And honorable mention, the Spiderverse movies! Because the style of animation is very interesting and the framing, directing, everything visual about it not to mention sound design I think is just magnificent! I love the story and characters too, obviously!
If you haven’t noticed, I’m a little bit of a Spider-Man fan myself.
I can’t really say the three worst movies because I’ve never really watched a horrible movie, I’m sure they’re out there but it’s more like this wasn’t my favorite, or I just liked another film more. So I can’t say I have a least favorite.
10. Who were some of your earliest role models (either real or fictional)?
Jamie Grace and Toby Mac I guess? I don’t remember super having role models. I kind of made up my own characters who became my role models.
11. What’s one of your favorite prayers/Bible verses?
I’m always shifting between them, so I don’t really have one. I love any verse about God’s love and His patience and peace.
One of my favorites is this one though:
“So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the kingdom.” -Luke 12:32
And I don’t really have anyone to nominate, so I’m not going to ask questions to anyone in particular, but to anyone who would like to answer these questions feel free to!
1. What is one toy or game or something you always wanted when you were a kid? Did you ever get it?
2. What is your favorite season and why?
3. Do you have a favorite anime? Or just animated show in general.
4. Do you have a YouTuber you used to love watching when you were a kid? For me it was MyFroggyStuff and EllieV Toys and DaveHax
5. Out of all the guy-in-the-chair or tech geniuses you've ever seen in fiction, which are your favorites? (you can also do any other type of character if you don't like this type)
6. What country would you like to visit the most?
7. If you had to adopt three characters from fiction, raising them from the age of eleven or so, which three characters would you choose?
8. If you could go into one fictional universe and change the course of the story, or just hang out with the characters, which story would you go to?
9. If you had to choose one fictional character to be your body guard all of the time, (and help you parent the previous three you chose) who would you choose?
10. Do you like Sparkling Water?
11. What is your favorite brand of potato chips? Change it to any snacks if you don't like potato chips.
That's a great verse!
ReplyDeleteAnd those questions are AMAZING! Really creative. My favorite flavors of potato chips are plain and sour cream and onion. Or did you mean brand as in company? Xp
I meant company, but flavors are chill too! My favorite flavor is Honey Barbeque and Lays has the best Honey Barbeque. But I surprisingly prefer Walmart's brand of rippled potato chips to theirs.
DeleteHah, your first-word story is so funny. xD And I think I mentioned this to you before during Musicals Week, but I (shockingly) have never seen The Greatest Showman, though I've heard so much about it...I take it that you would recommend it? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favorite Bible verses as well. <3
Thank you for doing the tag, Frankie!
Thank you so much for inviting me to do it! I had a lot of fun, especially with asking the new questions, I was wondering do you think you'd like to answer them? You totally don't have to but it was just be fun. I'd be really interested to see what your answer would be. I absolutely recommend the Greatest Showman, though to be fair I haven't watched it in a while, but I remember loving it when I did and the songs always hit hard. I think you mentioned it too, but I can't remember. Thanks again so much for tagging me! This was so much fun!
DeleteOh, especially answering the questions about my favorite characters enjoyed that too much actually. XD
